Happy Heart Day!

Hey, Where's Dad?
We've been busier than ever in the last couple of weeks. We've been juggling schedules like never before, it seems. Terry has recently been called to serve in our ward's bishopric as second counselor! He is looking forward to serving the ward in that capacity. I am having flashbacks to grad school when Terry worked full time and attended evening classes. We hardly saw him. We do see him more now than we did back then but we do have some weeks when we tag team with meetings and taxi-ing kids from here to there.
The kids...
Everett just earned his Tenderfoot and Second Class in scouts. He's been working very hard and has enjoyed it too! We also received his report card. Terry and I are very proud of him. He is sporting a 3.8 GPA! Better than Terry or I ever did. He is on the "Principal's List" again this term. (similar to the 'Dean's List' in college.) Yay, Everett!!
Camille has been busy reading like crazy getting ready to compete in Oregon Battle of Books. It is a school-sponsered program where the kids read books from a specific reading list and, as teams, are quizzed on them. Camille and her team competed with other teams in her school and advanced to the next round. Way to go, Cam!
Lindsey is starting to read. She's finally shown interest in working on it. She's been too busy to take the time, I guess. We love "Bob Books". They got Camille started and now Lindsey's doing great!
Claire is expanding her vocabulary by leaps and bounds. Her latest words are "mine", "wubby" (water) and "no!". She is absolutely adorable. Oh, the joys!
And then there's Mom, me, moi...
I've been trying to keep everyone on track. It's my job, right? Well, I need to take some inservice days. Vacation. Me time. Okay, I may have to settle for a bubble bath. But asking that it be UNinterrupted might be asking too much. SIGH!

Back in Business
It's been a very looong time since I've been able to blog. It seems that our poor, dear, computer has been sick. We thought we had virus protection. But as it turns out WE DIDN'T! Now you might be asking yourself, "What kind of CRAZY person goes without VIRUS PROTECTION???! Don't answer that! Let's just say it's all been taken care of. Yay! Now I can blog and post photos, etc... Ahhhh!
Stay tuned for updates and pictures!
